Champions for Children 2026 was one of our most memorable events yet! This year, we welcomed 190 banquet guests and 120 golfers, making it our largest event since before the COVID-19 pandemic. From an inspiring evening at Coors Field to a beautiful day on the Sanctuary Golf Course, every moment was made possible because of your generosity. Together, we raised an incredible $454,450! This remarkable achievement reflects the growing community of supporters committed to helping youth in foster care find the love, connection, and permanency they deserve.

One of the event's most powerful moments was a fireside chat featuring CBS Colorado News Anchor Mekialaya White and Raise the Future Family Support Practitioner DaShun Jackson, who courageously shared his lived experience in foster care.

DaShun's story was both powerful and deeply moving. His words served as a heartfelt reminder of why this work matters and the life-changing impact of connection, support, and belonging. His journey reflected Raise the Future's belief that it only takes one caring adult to change a young person's life, and because of supporters like you, more youth have the opportunity to build those lasting, life-changing relationships.
