What You Can Do in the Donor Portal
Once logged in, you’ll be able to:
- Make a one-time donation or set up a recurring monthly gift
- Securely store and manage your payment methods
- View your full giving history and past receipts
- Update your contact and personal information at any time
First-Time Here?
If you are new to Raise the Future or have never donated online before, you can simply create a new account using any email address you prefer, this will automatically create your donor profile in our system.
Just click “Sign Up” on the login page to get started.
Returning Donor? Please Read This First
If you have donated with Raise the Future before, please use the same email address where you typically receive emails or donation receipts from us.
This allows the portal to recognize your record and automatically connect your past giving to your account.
If you aren’t sure which email we have on file, don’t worry, you can still sign up using your best email. We can always help merge your records later if needed. To have your account merged, reach out to gabrielle.whittekiend@raisethefuture.org.
How to Create or Access Your Account
1. Visit https://raise.blackbaudportal.com/
2. Click “Sign Up” (for first-time users) or “Log In” (if you already have an account)
3. Follow the prompts to enter your information
4. Check your email for a confirmation link to complete your setup
5. Bookmark the page for easy access in the future
Can I Edit or Pause a Recurring Gift?
Yes, within the portal, you can:
- Adjust your donation amount, frequency, or payment method
- Temporarily pause or skip upcoming payments
- End your recurring gift at any time
How to Manage your Recurring Gift
1. In the donor portal, select Recurring gifts.
2. Click the specific gift amount you want to update.
3. Under Gift information:
- Update the scheduled amount to change the amount and fund.
- Update Frequency and Next payment to change the payment schedule.
- Add, edit, or remove the End date if you want the gift to stop on a certain date.
4. Under Payment method, edit any saved payment details as needed.
Why can’t I edit my Recurring Gift Amount?
If your original gift included “Donor Covers Fees”, you may not be able to edit the amount directly. In that case, simply cancel the current gift and start a new one. We’re also happy to do it for you if you reach out to gabrielle.whittekiend@raisethefuture.org.
When Will Gifts Made by Check or Stock Appear?
Gifts made offline (check or stock transfer) may take 2–3 weeks to appear in your portal after processing. If it’s been longer than that, please contact our team at gabrielle.whittekiend@raisethefuture.org.
Is My Payment Information Secure?
Yes. All payment details are fully encrypted and securely stored by Blackbaud, a trusted nonprofit technology provider used by organizations nationwide. No full credit card details are ever visible to Raise the Future staff. I have an existing pledge with the Raise the Future. Will I be able to see it on my account?
Pledge balances are not currently reflected in your online account. For pledge balances or questions regarding your existing pledge, please contact our team at: gabrielle.whittekiend@raisethefuture.org.
Will I Get a Confirmation Receipt After Making an Online Donation?
Yes, you will automatically receive an email receipt after making any online gift through the portal.
