National & Federal Partnerships
Raise the Future extends its impact nationally through partnerships on federally funded child welfare initiatives. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Children’s Bureau funds national organizations to lead these initiatives, and Raise the Future serves as a partner and subrecipient, bringing our experience and expertise to the work.
National Adoption Association
With funding from HHS/ACF’s Children’s Bureau, the National Adoption Association (https://www.adoptnaa.org/) leads national initiatives including AdoptUSKids and the National Center for Diligent Recruitment (NCDR). Raise the Future serves as a partner and subrecipient, contributing staff and expertise to support both initiatives.
Through this partnership, Raise supports national efforts related to adoption and diligent recruitment, including resources, training, peer learning, and strategies to help jurisdictions recruit, develop, support, and retain foster, adoptive, and kinship families. ACF describes NCDR as providing training and technical assistance to states, tribes, and territories around strategic, data-driven diligent recruitment.
Spaulding for Children
HHS/ACF’s Children’s Bureau also funds Spaulding for Children to lead national work focused on adoption and post-adoption support. Raise the Future serves as a partner and subrecipient supporting the National Center for Enhanced Post-Adoption Support (Post Adoption Center), contributing our experience and expertise in strengthening supports for adoptive families.
