It is led by a professional staff member from Raise the Future, and provides an opportunity for families interested in adopting to learn more about these processes. Families from all states are welcome and encouraged to attend.
In this webinar we will discuss the fostering and adopting from foster care process. We welcome families in all states that are interested in becoming a foster parent or adopting a child from foster care to join us. We will cover the following topics: Fostering with the hope to adopt vs. Adopting from foster care, the home study and licensing process, the needs of youth in care, matching, transition, and placement, and finding support.
