The Adoption Exchange Post-Permanency Services and Support program includes providing TBRI® training, personalized in-home coaching, implementation and connection groups, TBRI®- trained respite care for families in specified counties and access to a sensory lending library. We offer specialized trainings in webinar format resource coordination and access to a statewide searchable resource database. The primary goal of this program is to provide the tools and support necessary for families to successfully navigate the challenges of parenting children from “hard places.”

Additional Information

Families being served through this program include biological families who have reunified with their children and no longer have an open case with the Department of Human Services, kinship families who have guardianship of the children in their care and finalized adoptive families. Post-Permanency Services and Support also serves professionals that work with these families. This can include a variety of professionals -- ranging from teachers to CASA workers to employees of the Department of Human Services.
