At The Adoption Exchange, we believe that finding a loving, supportive, and permanent adoptive family for a vulnerable at-risk child is one of the most important and urgent needs in our community right now. Every child should have a family.

At The Adoption Exchange, we know that through intensive, child-focused recruitment and evidence-informed family support services, we can break the cycle of abuse and neglect and change a child from a statistic to a success story.

The Adoption Exchange Solution

When a child ages out of foster care without a permanent connection, the odds are against them. Within two years of being an “adult” far too many youth become one of the disheartening statistics. The solution is to ensure that no child exits foster care without a loving, permanent family.

We work every day to find the right family, the best family, and the final family for each child. By supporting adoptive families throughout the entire adoption journey, we ensure the connections we create last a lifetime.

As the calendar year comes to an end, we are asking for help to support children waiting in foster care and the families who adopt. Your contributions make this work possible. We know that every dollar matters to you, and it does to us too.

	$1 for every one of the 1,673 families who are stronger and better equipped because of the training they received from The Adoption Exchange last year.
	$1 for each of the 966 youth registered with The Adoption Exchange who are still waiting for a permanent family. We must do more for these children!
	$1 in honor of the 324 children whom The Adoption Exchange helped connect with a loving family last year.
	$1 for the 103 Wednesday’s Child segments that aired last year on local news networks, each raising awareness about a specific waiting child or sibling group.
	$1 for each of the 32 long months the average youth spends waiting in foster care for a loving, permanent family. Together we can end their wait.
	$1 for the 17 teens who were 17 years or older when they were connected with their family this year. No child is too old for a family!
