This training provides an overview of the unusual behaviors that complex developmental trauma presents in children. These behaviors are the manifestation of the effects of trauma on the developing brain. In this training, participants will gain knowledge of brain development, the limbic system's amazing responses (fight, flight and freeze), and practical bottom-up ways to soothe the child who has experienced trauma.
